Here in Te Ngahere we have been doing maths. Our goal was to use the correct measurements to create a paper castle. We first had to get into our maths groups so we could decide and share what we learnt. My group started off by practising how to draw straight lines to match the examples. I decided to make the wall sections while the other group members make the square tower and the circular tower’s. I personally enjoy doing this maths because it helps me to understand measurement. What I found difficult was to draw symmetrical lines because I couldn't tell if the lines were straight or not. Have you made a paper castle ?
