Here in Te Ngahere we have been doing learning around measurements. Our activity was pounamu pendants. We were learning to find the total amount of green squares so that we could turn the amount of squares into a percentage. This activity involved measurements which at first I found very confusing but as we all started to work together I finally got the hang of it. I personally enjoyed adding up all of the amount of green squares because It was challenging for me, after we had added up all of the green squares we had to divide the total by 135 then times the total by 100.
