Here at Paihia School we had Whaea Gina come in to Te Ngaere to talk to the class about healthy eating. We were reflecting on what we had already learnt and going over some of the ideas that we could use to balance our diet with other foods to get a healthy diet. We were learning about the four different food groups which are meat and meat alternatives, dairy, vegetables and fruit and grain. I learnt that if you are a vegetarian and you don’t eat meat, eggs give you the same protein and vitamin B12 as meat. After we had gathered all of the information we remembered we created a DLO about what we learnt. Here is my DLO
