Four Hoe Creation

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about the four hoe and the meaning behind them. We got the choice to choose one of the hoe to do a creation to show our evidence and what we know about Whanaungatanga - helping each other, Manaakitanga - respect, Kaha - being strong, Tu maia - resilience. We made groups of  2 or 3 and created something to show what we learnt. The group that I was working with decided to focus on Whanaungatanga. My group created a drawing with an acrostic poem. We had also made a video to explain what we learnt about. I personally enjoyed stating facts about the topic because the information I gather could help other students in their learning. I found learning about whanaungatanga little difficult because I always get mixed up with manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.
