Author visit

On the 20th of June Paihia School was joined by a author named Adele. She was talking to us about the books she had written and how she had come up with all of her ideas. She told us that if we got stuck figuring out ideas we could just write one of our experiences. Like she had wrote a book about a boy relating to her son. She had combined both of the things that she likes. She wrote a story about a boy that loves soccer and also added lots of mysteries. She talked to us about how much she loves paranormal things. We all could tell that she was so focused in completing a goal. Next time I think I could ask more questions related to the topic.

Kids Can Fun Run

At Paihia School we had an awesome Kids Can Fun Run day. All of the Pal leaders gathered together and chose a buddy. Pal stands for Physical Activity Leader. My friend and I chose to run the noodle hockey game. Noodle hockey is when there is 6 people on both sides and they each have a noodle. You have to number everyone and if you call there number the 2 people have to run into the middle and try to hit the ball into the goal. I had so much fun running this game and seeing all of the smiles on the kids faces. Hopefully we get to carry on with our games.
